Stockhausen's Kontakte was a masterpiece of its time. I heard it before but am listening to it again this week. I have been recording sound for composing electronic music so its very inspirational. Enjoy.

I found this band on Soundcloud because they "liked' one of my compositions. This is a beautiful melody and great vocals.
And from almpst 100 years earlier I was also listening to one of my favourite composers today, Edgard Varèse. Hyperprism is often referred to as a great and potted example of his style. Check it our on Youtube.
Discussing this beautiful composition today. Simplicity itself, but very carefully composed. Listen to the octave voices, perfectly together. Its remarkably consistent all the way through.
I'm really enjoying composing miniatures just now. It concentrates the mind to compose within exactly 1.00 minute (OK they sometimes go to 1.01 mins). Its a good discipline sometimes to condense an idea to a short composition while still developing the music.
