Beirut - Nantes

Beirut has quite a lot of unusual instrumentation - ukeleles, brass etc.  Two of my friends who play ukelele have told me they have been a big influence in their music. Its a happy sound that's a mix between pop/rock, latin and eastern european folk.  Zach Condon has a distinctive voice and is the mastermind behind Beirut.  Its an indie success story
